[UPDATE] Register to attend the first ever virtual meeting of the Youth LACIGF!

 

Due the rapid spread of COVID 19 in our region and in the best interest of keeping participants and organisers safe and healthy , the organizing committee of the Youth LACIGF decided to held the 2020 meeting virtually.

On the ocassion of the recent announcement of the Organising Committee of the LACIGF about the change of date, the YouthLACIGF meeting will take place on the new date of September 5 and 6 at Santiago de Chile Time Zone (UTC/GMT -4), at the online platform Zoom, with an agenda especially tailored with the topics of relevance for young people in Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

The 4 thematic areas are:

 

  • Online education and access to the internet. Digital Literacy matters!
  • Misinformation, problems with social media
  • COVID 19 related to privacy and cybersecurity in LAC region
  • Online democracies: a new model of democracies after the pandemic?
